Aloha, Ahoy

LBW or LITTLEBEARWOLF as it was originally called, started life as an adventure blog which was my way of adding a creative spark to my life. I've always been creative & free spirited but I found myself on the path of adulthood in a less than inspiring lifestyle & routine.

I didn't want to end up fifty wondering where my dreams and hopes had disappeared to.

Something had to change, I was either going to commit to routine or tear it all down & do something entirely wild, living my life in a way that I wouldn't have to conform to all the ordinary.

Because many things I may be, but ordinary just isn't one of them.

I dance to the beat of my own drum, I adhere to only the guidelines that I set for myself in all aspects of my life.

As I began to write, to share posts, I began to tear down my old lifestyle. I moved, I quit my job, I let go of negative relationships and I just kept writing.

I had to go back to my roots if I was ever going to follow my passions & move forward.

I loved writing and the more I wrote the more I felt as though I was creating the me that I wanted to be.
As though for the first time I was discovering me.

I wanted to write with true passion.

I started to write about music, music has always been one of my biggest passions.

It started with a gig review, to bands to features to working freelance with bands and musicians from around the world.

I suddenly found myself in a different routine, in a different life, for a while I loved it. However my adventurer side sneaks in & starts to drag my wanderlust heart in different directions.

So I quit.

I took time out from blogging, I just lived.

I worked a couple of corporate jobs, which proved to me that I was not meant to bumble along the mid ranks of a global organisation.

What I wanted to do in my life, was make a difference.

I wanted at sunset to feel as though I had achieved something good with my time that day.

I wanted to feel passionate.

I wanted to be inspired, motivated, in love with my life and my lifestyle.

I wanted to spend my time doing the things I love, because life is far too short to do the things you don't.

I wanted to be surrounded by the people who make my world a beautiful place.

I knew who I had evolved into & what I wanted my blog space to reflect.

was reborn, recreated.

Stronger & wilder & this time I wasn't conforming to one style. Because LBW represents me.

She needed to be as free, as changeable and untameable as I am.

To be one part of a creative existence, one part of me that was in harmony with the other parts of my life.

What is LBW?

LBW is a Music - Travel - Arts - Adventure blog written by a girl with a penchant for adventure, loud music, living for the moment, learning, the creative arts, culture, nature, who seeks to explore, to create & to live not to the expectations of others, but to only create the greatest story she can ever look back on and re-tell.

It's my corner of the web to share my passions, my life, my inspirations with all of you across the world.

LBW is my empire, my portfolio, your window to my world, me.

She's evolved since further & continues to develop. Becoming a community for musicians, artists & the wanderers of the world to unite, for emerging music to be shared & for the team at LBW to live out their adventures & wildest dreams.

Oh & there's a no jerks policy which I adapt across all parts of my life.
So please if you feel like trolling, go take a hard look in the mirror & ask yourself why your demons need to be thrust upon others.
