Aloha, Ahoy
I love music, as most of you who read the blog or know me, will know.
If I'm not with a band, at a gig or festival than I'm likely to be off adventuring.
It's my mission to bring you & share here the greatest in new music from the emerging music scene.
Those of you who used to stop by the old blog would have been used to my Introducing features, which I'm happy to say are back by popular demand!
Tonight is the first and then each week from now, I'll bring you one Introducing feature with two artists or bands that you absolutely must be listening to & checking out live.
-
This first band I've known of for a good few years and their sound is at it's strongest yet. I love seeing them play live & their adventure in 2016 is set to soar.
They can shred faster and harder than any band I've featured before & their sound creates a totally unique relentless rock that will leave you wanting more long after the initial hit.
I am ecstatic to introduce you to -
ALMEIDA ARE:
Tom West
Chris Lowe
Chris Mason
Barry Straker
Marc Morey
Progressive Thrash outfit on Lockjaw Records (UK) and Bird Attack Records (US) and Bells On Records (Japan).

The next band on this Introducing feature are a heady mix of raw alternative rock laced with hypnotizing riffs & a gritty backbone. I only recently saw this band and quite by accident - Why going to an unexpected gig can be an awesome thing.
I'm excited to share with you -
Kamikaze Test Pilots are:
Ryan Niemandt
Wes Niemandt
Simon Buckett
Drawing influence from the stop start rhythms and lyrical content of System of a Down, the melodic vocals, chugging rhythm guitars and searing solos of Alice in Chains and World music, Kamikaze test pilots have managed to formulate a unique hypnotic sound with enticing hooks that perfectly encapsulates the bands character and ethos.
